Policy Committee to Hold Hearing in Philadelphia on the importance of Lifeline Scholarships for Students

WHAT: The House Republican Policy Committee, led by Chairman Josh Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), will hold a hearing on school choice and lifeline scholarships to students trapped in struggling schools, in Philadelphia hosted by Rep. Martina White (R-Philadelphia).
WHO: Testifiers will include Andrew Brady, president of West Catholic Preparatory High School; Joy Converse, former public school teacher; Jaslin Vasquez-Gonzales, student at St. Joseph’s University; and parents Kemah Brewington and Shannon Mitchell.
WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m.
